I've been thinking a bit about the blog lately. What its purpose is, what I want to do with it. I've heard a few times about friends of friends, people who I never really met, but who mentioned the blog and somehow felt inspired by it. I like that. :) On the other hand, I also know about evil eyes who've been lurking around. And I, as many others, lately, have become less generous with the personal information I freely provide online.

What to do, what to do?

Was thinking of making it private, then I could feel safer about posting more, and it would be available to my friends who want to keep up with what's happening. A lot of adventures coming up, and I won't be able to skype with everyone. Although lately I've become a real fan of skype.

So yea.. what do you think?

s-a făcut octombrie

Honestly, it doesn't feel like October. Sunt 28 de grade în continuare, iar dimineața, când îmi aleg hainele, mă gândesc mereu cum să fac să nu-mi fie prea cald. Mi-e dor de zăpadă, de ștrampi, de puloverul negru pe care pare că n-am să-l mai port niciodată, de toate festivalurile de film de la București, de Violeta's Vintage Kitchen și de mers pe munte.

Pe de altă parte, tot scormonesc în adâncurile mele (metaforic vorbind :) ) și scot la iveală sau mai bine spus la lumină diverse arătănii, care se dezintegrează "puf" după o zi-două de dramă. It's going good.

Aș mai vrea să vă spun că am observat că atunci când oamenii de pe stradă nu mă văd că vin (pe bicicletă), e totul bine, ei își continuă drumul, eu pot să le aproximez destul de corect traiectoria și toată lumea e fericită. Dar se întâmplă să mă vadă cineva, dintr-un grup de trei, să zicem, care îl atenționează pe celălalt să-mi facă loc, doar că omul respectiv îngheață. Până să înțeleagă ce se întâmplă, intră într-o stare defensivă și înțepenește, ceea ce, well, ne strică zen-ul. O fi așa și în viață, you just gotta flow, cos when you freeze, you mess the "traffic" up?

A fost vara asta plină de de toate. Cumva, lucrurile au început să se miște. S-au desțelenit și au curs ca într-o ștafeta, m-au dat de la una la alta și m-au învartit, proiectat, transformat. Din nou simt că acum doar câteva luni nu prea înțelegeam nimic. Așa simțeam și acum un an. Și acum doi ani. Deci cel mai probabil, ce mi se pare acum că înțeleg în sfarșit e doar încă o foaie de ceapă. Nenumărate, nelimitate foi de ceapă avem.

Despre vizita alor mei aici nu pot sa spun decât că îmi doresc ca data viitoare să începem cu ultima zi. Pentru ca "you don't know what you've got till it's gone", și pentru că așa cum stau lucrurile acum, după ultima zi nu prea mai poți să faci nimic ca să îndrepți eventuale scăpări. Așa că nu știu, să vorbim cu cineva, să facă o buclă în timp, să trăim întâi ultima zi, să vedem ce vom fi făcut prost, și apoi să ne întoarcem la prima și să ne bucurăm. :) În fine, all in all a fost frumos, e minunat să ai părinți în casă, să fie struguri tot timpul pe masă, somon cu brocoli gata făcut, care te asteaptă pe aragaz când vii de la job, drag și alint. It was hard to see them go.

Joana a intrat azi în hostel veselă veselă și nerăbdătoare să-mi povestească ce tocmai făcuse.

A trecut imediat după prânz pe lângă o piață ambulantă unde se vindeau, printre altele, rațe. Rațe vii. Erau unele peste altele, un fel de maldăr de rațe într-o cutie/colivie. Adolescente, nici pui, nici mari. A cumpărat două, câte doi euro fiecare. Mi-o și imaginam în autobuz, o fată frumoasă și puțin nebună, cu niște păsări la subraț. Le-a dus în Jardim da Estrela, unul din cele mai frumoase parcuri din Lisboa, care are printre altele un lac pe care locuiesc niște rațe.

Le-a dat drumul. Îi era frică să nu fie acceptate. Mi-a explicat în detaliu cum s-au dus fericite spre suratele lor, cum dădeau din aripi, cum s-au cunoscut, cum celelalte rațe cam de aceeași vârstă au venit imediat lângă ele și apoi s-au dus toate în apă.

Era fericită Joana. Și rățuștele. Și eu :) 

10th of August, 2012

I was at this little place where they fix shoes and copy keys, waiting to get 2 keys re-touched. I had been talking earlier to the man operating the machine, about the economy, about life, about our future plans and why some countries are better than others. At this particular moment, I was wondering how the key-copying machine worked, since it's so fast. It seemed totally complicated and was totally in the unknown.

Next thing I know, he asks me whether I knew how it works and if I wanted to make one myself. Hah! So I copied a key. All by myself. And I didn't even have to pay for it, he gave it to me as a present. :)

Also yesterday, was craving cashews (this happens everyday, actually :D) but for some reason didn't buy any. And in the evening, I met with T. who brought me a bag of goodies: strawberries, a bag of nuts'n berries and .. cashews! Perfect treat after a very long day.

Conclusion? My thoughts are producing immediate results. Next step would be to figure out how to be responsible and channel them to the positive side rather than the negative.

Intenționez să-l folosesc cu cap și să nu pierd vremea pe el. :)

later edit: s-a strigat din public că 1. nu-i șchioapă, e chioară și 2. "ce-i trebuie chelului? tichie de mărgăritar!". nu pot să zic decât că surdul nu le-aude, dar le potrivește :P

"Salut ce faci. Sunt baeatul. de a seara. Ce zici ai timp. Sa esim la o discoteca de seara?"

Mi-a cerut o bricheta, eu i-am cerut o tigara si am mers impreuna o bucata de drum. 5 dimineata, barcelona, barri gotic. Printre primele intrebari: "de unde esti?". Wow, suntem amandoi din Romania. Il cheama Ciprian. E macelar intr-un abator si castiga 1800 de euro pe luna. Facuse in Romania un curs de macelar si asta l-a ajutat mult. N-are carnet, dar si-a luat un Peugeot in rate. Ca sa dea de carnet trebuie ori sa vina in ro, ori sa mai astepte cateva luni sa-i treaca perioada de ban in Spania. Da, n-are voie acum pentru ca l-au prins conducand fara carnet.

Oricum, se gandeste sa trimita masina in tara. I-au spus niste 'baeti' cum sa faca o combinatie. Spune ca a fost furata, asigurarea plateste dauna companiei de leasing iar masina.. in romania e ca-ntro gaura neagra. O vinzi pe bani frumosi si gata treaba.
