please

She's afraid of asking for things. Or better said, she can't. She can't ask someone for a cracker just as she can't ask for more from him. From anyone. Instead, she hopes that people can just guess what she wants. That one day he'll be right there waiting for her as she always imagines him. And when she gets dissapointed and invaded by all the hopelessness, she starts making plans and strategies about how she'll never again need anything from anyone. If her thoughts could be heard by someone else, they would probably be considered cute, all filled up with determination and pseudo-strength. Of course, at some point it all goes away and things go back to how they always are, with the occasional sparks of vision and clarity.
